Who are we?

ANDY MITCHELL SCULPTURES (AMS) developed from a traditional sculptor’s studio and small commercial art foundry into a modern sculptural practice specializing in metal sculptures, monuments and architectural features.
The business is divided into three main areas;  restoration/conservation, design and build, replication (new for old or missing).
It also specializes in complex metal patinations and gilding.  The in-house foundry casts in bronze/copper alloys, lead, aluminium, pewter and silver.
In each of its specialized areas, the company has worked for some of the nation’s leading companies and organizations.  We were responsible for the restoration of all the metal sculptures on the Albert Memorial winning The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Building Conservation Award for our work.
