Location: Budapest War Cemetery is several kilometres to the north west of the city. Take Route 10 from the city centre, in the direction of Dorog. The Cemetery is easily seen on the left hand side of the road at the intersection with a small road leading to the village of Solymar. Signs for Solymar are seen from the edge of the city until the turning off the main highway onto a small road to the village.

Historical Information: There is 1, 1914-18 and 172, 1939-45 Commonwealth war casualties commemorated in this site. 3 of the 1939-1945 casualties are unidentified. The graves from the 1939-45 War were concentrated here from different parts of Hungary. Also buried in this site are 37 Polish casualties and 1 French casualty.
