I think I've got ancestors from your neck of the woods but
they moved away in the 19th century. I am interested in any and all
SEABORNs. I think that they were around the Wortley area way back in the
16th Century. If you've ever come across any reference to this family then

I have been researching for about five years
with some success and my interests are as follows:-
FRY in Tormarton and Cromhall
HALL in Tormarton
PERRETT in North Nibley, Wickwar and Didmarton
BURNELL in Wickwar
PITMAN in Cromhall
SHIPWAY in Dursley and Wotton-under-Edge
JENNER in Dursley
My father was born in Chipping Campden but as a boy lived in
Wotton-under-Edge as his father - William Thomas Fry - was in
the police force there. In fact I think at one time he lived in
the police house.

I'm researching SPENCER from about
1800 to 1857 (brick wall: from where, when, and why did they come to
W-U-E?) and HOWELL from 1863 back. And possibly FOWLER, since Hannah
Howell's middle name was Fowler and a Mary Howell (her mother's name)
married a Sam Fowler about 25 years after Hannah's birth.

Parents Thomas and Hester Stinchcombe lived at
Poor End, now Park End, Cromhall. (1851 cen.) I have traced
many of the descendants of son Robert Rimer (1840) but
would be interested in making contact with descendants of
other offspring - Thomas17, Henry8, George6, Edwin4, Sarah2
and William1. ... and any other Stinchcombes who hail from
Cromhall.
